Hunan Erkang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in 2003. It is the largest, most diverse, and most complete high-tech listed leading enterprise in China's pharmaceutical excipient industry (SZ. 300267). It is also the main developer of China's pharmaceutical excipient standards and the first producer to achieve the industrialization of starch capsules. There are currently 129 varieties of medicinal excipients, 73 varieties of active pharmaceutical ingredients, and 282 approval numbers for finished drugs. Among them, starch plant capsules are core products with exclusive global intellectual property rights and have over 90 patent certifications. Our products are exported to nearly 40 countries and regions. The company has won many honors such as "National Torch Plan Key High tech Enterprise", "China's Most Valuable Pharmaceutical Listed Company", "China's Top 100 Pharmaceutical Industry", and "Xinhua News Agency National Brand Project".
In 2013, in order to further advance towards internationalization, Hunan Erkang (Cambodia) Investment Co., Ltd. built an industrial park based on "innovation, efficiency, and environmental protection", undertaking the transfer of domestic production capacity of related varieties, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, covering an area of 2000 acres, and employing nearly a thousand Chinese and Cambodian employees.
Erkang's wholly-owned subsidiary, Cambodia Phoenix Industrial, is located in the park. Phoenix Industrial has more than 300 Chinese and Cambodian employees, multiple modern production workshops, and an annual production capacity of 11000 tons of caffeine, 1000 tons of folic acid, and 30000 tons of sodium citrate.
In the future, Erkang Pharmaceutical will adhere to the original intention of pharmaceutical professionals, focus on drug and food safety, actively build a new integrated pattern of "intermediates+raw materials+preparations", and create a national enterprise brand with international influence.
